WHAT IS CHIYAAN VIKRAM'S GARUDA ABOUT?

Chiyaan Vikram is currently busy with the shooting commitments of Iru Mugan directed by Anand Shankar. The film is said to be shaping up well with close to 60% of the being completed so far.

Apart from Iru Mugan, Vikram has a film titled Garuda to be directed by Thiru of Naan Sigappu Manithan fame. Chiyaan would reportedly start shooting for Garuda in the month of June or July at Coimbatore after he completes Iru Mugan.

A little birdie has hinted that the core story of Garuda is based out of Pakistan, so the makers are looking for suitable locations in Rajasthan to make it look like Pakistan. We could not get a confirmation regarding the story from Garuda team but it would be a nice change to see films like Filmistaan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Tamil. Films that create a positive vibe among people living both in Pakistan and India.
