Opening with a long shot of a Mercedes-Benz S-Class following the landing of a private aircraft at a deserted airstrip, the second teaser of Gautham Menon's self-claimed dream project with Chiyaan Vikram, Dhruva Natchathiram is high on its style quotient. A synthesized massy tune composed for the swag portrayed by Vikram builds up as a dialogue featuring in the previous teaser with the hoarse voice of the lead actor is heard.
A fashionably sophisticated Chiyaan Vikram, steps out of the aircraft and adjusts his blazer with sheer flamboyance and elegantly walks towards the car and gets into it. We don't know who drove the car to that spot, while Vikram gets to the driver's seat. ''Welcome back John'', says a possible villain as the screen blacks out. A quick run through of fancy frames of the protagonist in dashing clothes is shown, while we start to wonder why he is in Chennai, walking into Sathyam Cinemas' restroom when they mention that he is landing in Delhi.
As we try to ignore that and watch the gentleman on the screen mesmerize us, the expectations we hold over this film just rise sky-high! We are awestruck and enraptured by Harris Jayaraj's background score in this small tribute to Vikram on his 51st birthday. We hope Gautham Menon would control his urge to tease us more, and deliver the product as soon as possible!
