Vikram Vedha and Meesaya Murukku, which released last Friday (21st July), have been performing exceedingly well and even the weekday shows are screened with a fully packed audience. Apart from these two films, director Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk is also said to be doing well.
 

Rakesh Gowthaman of Vettri Theatres, tweeted, "First super hit in the 2nd half of 2017 since #Baahubali ... #VikramVedha killing at the BO". Ruban Mathivanan of G.K.Cinemas tweeted, "Both #VikramVedha and #MeesayaMurukku is going rock solid on weekdays!! After a really dull period trade is back"

Inspite of the ticket prices hike due to GST, this week's releases have been doing well and it has once again been proved that good content will always have a good reception among the audience.
