Actor Vikram’s next with director Anand Shankar is Iru Mugan which has Nayanthara and Nithya Menen playing the female lead roles. The updates from this team are as follows,

- The team will leave for a 10 day long schedule to Kashmir on 25th April. By the end of this particular schedule, the film would be 80% complete.

- The next final schedule is planned in Bangkok for 15 days. The dates for this schedule are yet to be decided.

- The team looks at Vinayagar Chathurthi weekend as a possible date for the theatrical release.

The film’s music is scored by Harris Jayaraj, while RD Rajasekhar takes control of the department of photography. It is being made under the banner Thameens Production.
