THROWBACK: VIJAY'S SECOND MASTER MAKEOVER WILL REMIND YOU OF HIS EARLIER HIT!

Vijay sported a neatly trimmed moustache in the video, which appeared a bit similar to his look in the Siddique-directed 2011 film Kaavalan, thereby sending us a trip down the memory lane. Just like Master, Kaavalan too places Vijay's character in a college atmosphere, but unlike the former, Bhoominathan, Vijay's character in Kaavalan, was the student's bodyguard.

Vijay will be essaying the role of a professor named John Durairaj in Master, which is produced by XB Film Creators. Co-starring Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, Shanthnu, Andrea in important roles, Master has a soundtrack composed by Anirudh while Sathyan Sooryan handles the cinematography. The film is set to release in April this year.
