FROM PETTA TO KAITHI: LEGENDARY DIRECTOR SHARES HIS RECENT INSPIRATIONS

In a recent interaction with the veteran filmmaker, the director remarked that he was recently impressed by the current crop of filmmakers that include 'Petta' director Karthik Subbaraj, Nalan Kumarasamy, Balaji Tharaneetharan, Karthick Naren,  Radhakrishnan Parthiban and Lokesh Kanagaraj, the director of Kaithi. 

Recently, the filmmaker was all praise for director Radhakrishnan Parthiban's experimental thriller Oththa Seruppu. The filmmaker added that watching their works make him feel excited and has proved to be a learning experience.

One of the filmmakers mentioned by S.A. Chandrasekhar, Lokesh Kanagaraj, is currently helming the former's son and Tamil superstar Vijay as lead in the forthcoming project Thalapathy 64. The film is produced by Xavier Britto under the banner XB Film Creators.
