After writing the story and screenplay for critically acclaimed blockbusters like the Baahubali series and Bhajrangi Bhaijaan, SS Rajamouli's father, Vijayendra Prasad has now written the screenplay for Atlee's Mersal with Thalapathy Vijay. The team is all geared up to rock Diwali.
When we contacted Vijayendra Prasad to know more about Mersal, this is what he had to say as to why he chose to do the film. "When Atlee was narrating the story to me, he explained one particular scene. It was a scene from the 80s portion where Vijay's newborn toddler would raise his hand up whenever he hears his father's voice. As soon as I heard this, I told Atlee that there is some energy in this concept, let's do this!"
Interesting right? Just five days to go to catch this on screen. Every day there is something to excite us further.
Thenandal Studio Ltd (TSL) has released a game on Facebook Messenger called Mersal Match Meter, and we played the game. Here are some exciting things we found out:
1. Vijay plays both as a student and as a working professional!
From the details we already have, we know that one of the twin Vijay's, Maaran, is a doctor and the other is a magician. So we safely speculate that Maaran is actually a medical student and the magician Vijay is the working professional. What do you think?
2. Vijay's age in the movie is somewhere between 25-34!
This could mean that all three characters are portrayed when they are in this age range, including the father Vijay.
Other known info like Vijay romancing three heroines in the movie and hailing from Tamil Nadu was also revealed.
Try this game out!
