IS THIS FOR MERSAL OR FOR VIJAY 62?

Not in many films do we find Thalapathy Vijay sporting a beard. In his 25 year-long career, we have not seen him showcase a fully grown beard. In movies like Thupakki, Puli, Kaththi and a few others, we could see him sport a stubble or a slight french beard, but Atlee's Mersal is probably the first time we are going to see him in a bearded avatar.

Recently, at the wedding of actor Vishal's sister, Vijay was seen growing his Mersal beard back. We had earlier reported that Vijay's shooting portions for Mersal are completed. But with this beard growing back for Thalapathy, who usually never maintains one, are they planning a patch up schedule shoot for him? Could it also be another surprise get up in progress for him?

It would be interesting to know if Vijay will be shown in a very special makeover for his 62nd film, and 3rd with ace director AR Murugadoss! Let us wait and see, as to what is cooking in Thalapathy's camp!
