Seenu Ramasamy is known to be a sensible and realistic filmmaker. His most popular films are Thenmerku Paruvakaatru, Neerparavai, Dharma Durai amidst others. He last directed Kanne Kalaimaane that starred Udhayanidhi Stalin and Tamannaah in the lead and is now readying for Maamanithan that stars Vijay Sethupathi and Gayathrie in the lead. Owing to the current pandemic situation, it is not yet clear when the film will hit the marquee.

The actor says that, whatever be the circumstance, Seenu can never show women in a disgraceful manner and the reason for the same and quoting VJS - “I have grown up with sisters, I can’t show them any other way.” VJS’s retelling of the incident drew a lot of applause from the audience.
