Master is among the highly anticipated projects to hit screens this Pongal.

Helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Master features an ensemble cast which includes Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthnu, Arjun Das, Gouri G Kishan amongst others in prominent roles. Anirudh scores music.

Earlier, in an exclusive with us, director Lokesh Kanagaraj revealed Vijay’s reaction upon watching Master and said, “We showed several versions - one with music, one without it. He said congratulations and added that it had come out well.”

Adding to that, he said, “The film will have its entertainment value. Whatever you expect from a Vijay film. Vijay - Vijay Sethupathi scenes would be a highlight. There is an emotional angle.”

Lokesh said that it was great to have Vijay Sethupathi on board since the film needed a strong villain. Noting about the huge cast, he said that he has tried to use everyone well and in particular, singled out Master Mahendran.
