Jointly produced by XB Film Creators and Seven Screen Studio, the film was supposed to release on April 9, 2020 but was postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak. But the film indeed proved that it was worth the wait!

The Box-Office wing of Behindwoods independently calculates the collections in the Chennai City, considering only the theatres falling under the Chennai City trade area. Accordingly, Master has collected around 5.61 crores in its first weekend and has bagged the ‘Grand Opening' verdict. It must be noted that the film was allotted with only 50% of occupancies in the theatres owing to the Coronavirus pandemic.
