Now, SA Chandrasekar, Vijay's dad has shared his angst in a video. He begins his video by saying that there are those who have even escaped Corona but he can't imagine what will happen if one is at the mercy of a Sathankulam inspector and added that such a thought shakes him badly. While he appreciates the police force who aided in the battle against Corona, at the same time, he says he is shocked to learn of such tormentors in the force. He said that they need to be punished, without delay. SAC also added that people will lose respect for anyone who's trying to help them avoid punishment.

A father and son duo, Jeyaraj and Bennicks, were alleged to have been tortured in police custody on insignificant charges. Both passed away subsequently due to the extent of the injuries caused and causing a national uproar in return for the fight against police brutality.
