Our sources close to Mersal team have informed us that the complete shooting portion of the film will supposedly be wrapped by July 31st. The team then will be having ample time to focus just on the post-production work.
Mersal shooting began on 2nd February 2017, though the pre-production works started way before. So if the team manages to complete the shooting by July 31st, it would mean that they have completed the entire shoot in 179 days which is relatively less compared to all the other big projects made in current times. The makers have shot the whole film in 130 working days, while the rest of 49 days, include the schedule break and other breaks. We believe the impeccable planning by Atlee's team and adequate support by the production house to be the major reason to finish a huge project in such a short span of time.
