Vidyut Jammwal has been busy shooting for his upcoming film Junglee. Directed by American filmmaker Chuck Russell, the movie is an action adventure revolving around the star and a few elephants, and how his friendship with them leads him to fighting poachers.
The project, bankrolled by Junglee Pictures, has come to a screeching halt when Vidyut was involved in a minor accident during a stunt scene and suffered an injury. The stunt involved entering a high window, swinging in. Unfortunately, although he was tied to a pulley rope, he got hit on his head on what looked like a crane bridge, reports say.
Vidyut received immediate medical attention on the set. He recuperated quickly and the shoot resumed on the very same day.
Junglee Pictures signs an A-list Hollywood director Chuck Russell for an action adventure Bollywood film titled 'Jungle.' The film will feature Vidyut Jammwal who will be shooting in North Eastern forest region in India for the film.
Reports say that Vidyut Jammwal will be seen in a never- before-seen avatar for the film which will revolve around a man and an elephant in a forest. Junglee Pictures, on the other hand, wants to surprise Bollywood fans with rich visuals. Vidyut will be undergoing a special training with few experts for which the actor will be spending few months in the forest before the shoot of the film.
‘Jungle’ is expected to go on floors by the end of this year. The film will have Hollywood technicians and few Hollywood popular personalities in supporting roles. Production of this film is expected to go on the entire 2018 and the film will hit the screens by mid-2019.
