Thalapathy Vijay's Sarkar is all set to release for the festive occasion of Diwali on November 6 and the film's expectations are sky high for the fact that it marks the reunion of the blockbuster combination of Vijay and director A.R.Murugadoss.
Vijay films always enjoy a great advance booking and a super striking opening at the box office. On that note, a section of Thalapathy fans wanted to know about the status of the advance booking for the film.
Rakesh Gowthaman, Managing Director of Vettri Theatres revealed that the closure of the agreement (for Sarkar) for the Chengalpet region theatres would be signed only by 1st of November and added that it is too early to comment on the same. He tweeted, "For the peeps who are asking bout #Sarkar bookings ... This is too early. First Chengalpet area has to be sold to a distributor. Then negotiation reg commercial terms with theatres will start. All will come to a closure only by 01/11/18. Whatever it is #SarkarInVettri is 100% "
When one of the fans asked if Sarkar will face any release issue, like Theri, in the Chengalpet region theatres, Rakesh replied with a no, stating that, "There is no issue at all here ... This is a standard process ... #Theri issue is completely different ... So lets not mix up ..."
