Allen Garfield is one of the most revered and talented artists of Hollywood. He is one of the recent stars the industry has lost to the Coronavirus pandemic. He was well known for his roles in Nashville and The Conversation.
Garfield was born in Newark, New Jersey. He started out as a boxer and a sportswriter. Eventually, he started studying acting and was taken up by Actor’s Studio, where he learnt the skill under Lee Strasberg.
Garfield played supporting characters in some crucial films such as Robert Altman’s ‘Nashville’, Woody Allen’s ‘Bananas’, Richard Rush’s ’The Stunt Man’. He passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020.
