Yet again we come across another saddening and shocking news in which veteran actor and director Vishal Anand, who is best known for the 1976 hit film "Chalte Chalte", passed away on Sunday, October 4 following a prolonged illness.
Aged 82, the actor, whose real name was Bhisham Kohli, appeared in several Hindi films in the 1970s, including "Hindustan Ki Kasam" and "Taxi Driver" which went on to win million hearts.
For the unversed, he was the nephew of the legendary actor, Dev Anand. Apart from acting, Vishal Anand was also known for directing a few films and is also credited for giving a successful break to music director Bappi Lahiri. Celebrities and fans have been pouring in their tributes to the bereaving family.
