Director Venkat Prabhu who is known to be a fun director entertaining through his films took a nostalgic trip. Today, January 29, marks eight years of his film Goa’s release, which was an out and out comedy. Venkat Prabhu took to Twitter to talk about what the film taught him and how much he loves the film.
His tweet read, “The movie which is close to my heart!! And taught me a lotta lessons!! @MahatOfficial still remember what u said thanks @soundaryaarajni for believing!! #8yearsofgoa”.
The theme of Party seems to be interesting and we wish the director best of luck for his venture.

Director Venkat Prabhu's next directorial is the multi-starrer Party, which has Shiva, Jai, Kayal Chandran, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Jayaram, Nasser, Nivetha Pethuraj, Sanchita Shetty, Regina Cassandra and others in important roles. The film has been shot across the islands of Fiji.
Party's teaser and character intro teasers had released recently and the buzz for the film has picked up. In an exclusive conversation with Behindwoods, Venkat Prabhu said:
"We are super excited about how Party is shaping up. We have planned to release it for the Tamil New Year's big weekend and are looking at April 12 for our release. Hoping that the audience will thoroughly enjoy this fun-filled ride."
Works related to Venkat Prabhu's production venture RK Nagar starring Vaibhav and directed by Saravana Rajan are also in full swing.
