“IT WILL BE A PLEASANT DIVERSION FROM THE TRAUMATIC SITUATION”

On a casual chat with director Venkat Prabhu about his upcoming film Chennai 28 part 2 and it’s release, he clarified that the film will hit screens on December 9th, Friday, as planned.

He calls the film as his tribute to our late CM, Jayalalithaa and says the month of December has seen a lot of traumatic events for Chennai in the past few years. He was extremely sad about the death of our CM and shared his condolences and praise for the kind of woman she was.

He feels the film which is expected to come out this Friday is a relief from this traumatic situation and that it will be a pleasant diversion for one and all. On what to expect from his sequel, he states that it will bring back memories of the first version and entertain the audience with it’s fun factor and keep them smiling throughout.
