BREAKING: "WE WILL BAN TAMIL FILM IN KARNATAKA, IF..." - VATTAL NAGARAJ

We have been regularly updating about the Baahubali 2 Karnataka release issue. After Sathyaraj’s video statement, the Karnataka social activists led by Vattal Nagaraj have agreed to release the film in the state.

When we approached Vattal Nagaraj to get extra details on the decision, he explained the reason behind letting the film release in Karnataka and what their future actions would be.

“There are two reasons majorly. One is Sathyaraj’s statement looked heartfelt, and 2nd reason is that stalling of Baahubali 2 will affect Karnataka people who are associated with the film too.

But now we have been hearing reports that Tamil Nadu film industry is planning to ban Kannada films in their state. If that is true, we will ban Tamil films in Karnataka. I along with some of the activists will be meeting the Karnataka film fraternity tomorrow to discuss this issue.”

Why have you not protested against Sathyaraj’s films for the last nine years?

“I was not in power all these while, but his statement really wounded me. I still feel annoyed with it even after 9 years. Now I have the power to fight for my people.”
