''DON’T OVERDO THINGS'', SASIKUMAR SIR WOULD TELL ME

Vetrivel directed by Vasanthamani is all set to hit the screens tomorrow, the 22nd April. The film features Sasikumar as the lead with three heroines Miya George, Varsha and Nikhila.

Varsha speaks to behindwoods about the film, “Vetrivel is all about family bonding, love and affection and is a pucca family entertainer. I play a village girl called Suba in the film and Prabhu sir is my dad. My role will be more about dad-daughter relationship. It’s how we bond with each other and also about my respect for him. Sasikumar sir plays the brother of my love interest Ananth Nag.

It was a very very disciplined set. I was very happy as I got to work with a lot of seniors like DoP Kathir sir, Prabhu sir and Sasikumar sir. Kathir sir taught me a lot and gave useful tips. Sasikumar sir would always want me to be natural and not overdo things. It was a nice learning experience for me.

I am excited to watch the film as it has so many shades of relationships. Thambi Ramaiah, Viji Chandrasekar and Prabhu sir have all done an amazing job. There is no hero heroine in the film and every character has a lot of importance in the film”.

Varsha is also working in Seemanin Seemaatti directed by Santhosh co-starring Geethan Britto.
