After coming to notice by playing an important supporting character in Vijay's Thalaiva, directed by his brother Vijay, Udhaya starred in a horror film Aavi Kumar. 

Now, he is back with Utharavu Maharaja, a film in which he plays the lead and has also produced. This film also has Prabhu and Kovai Sarala playing important roles. 

It is directed by Asif Kuraishi, with Naren Balakumar taking care of the music. Here is the official trailer of the film.
