With Disney’s upcoming live action movie Jungle Book gearing up for its release on April 8th, 2016, Global United Media has purchased its theatrical distribution rights in Kerala.

Nelson Venkatesan’s upcoming project Oru Naal Koothu was certified with U/A previously by the censor board. After reconsideration and losing out on some cuts, the team has been awarded with a clean U.

Post gaining appreciation for his characterization in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, actor comedian RJ Balaji has been roped aboard for GV Prakash’s next, Kadavul Irukan Kumaru. Touted to be a rom-com this is directed by Rajesh of Boss Engira Baskaran fame.

Veteran comedian Nagesh’s grandson Bijesh is reportedly starring in Santhanam’s next venture Server Sundaram as a chef. This venture is directed by Anand Balki and has music by Santhosh Narayanan.

Karthi and Nagarjuna’s upcoming bilingual venture Thozha has been certified with a clean U by the censor board. This venture is produced by Prasad Potluri of PVP cinemas and is the official remake of the French movie The Intouchables. It also has Tamannaah in an important role and is reportedly releasing on March 25th, 2016.
