DAD AND SON IN THE SAME FILM

Director Anucharan who made people sit and take note of him with his debut directorial venture Kirumi is also involved in Manikandan’s Aandavan Kattalai (AK) featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Ritika Singh.

Presently he is editing Aandavan Kattalai parallelly along with the shooting. His other project as editor is Sigai which he has completed. Very soon we can expect an announcement about his directorial venture after the completion of AK.

An interesting trivia about Aandavan Kattalai is that Anucharan’s dad Murugaiyan Vandayar is debuting as a cop in the film. Vandaiyar has previously acted in a short film for an aspiring director who is now assisting director Shankar.
