BREAKING: SURIYA TO START SHOOTING FOR HIS NEXT WITH KARNAN HEROINE RAJISHA VIJAYAN - DETAILS!

Suriya was last seen in Amazon Prime Release Soorarai Pottru which opened to rave reviews. It told the story of Captain GR Gopinath and his struggles to get a low-cost airline going. The feature was directed by Sudha Kongara.

Rajisha is said to have been cast in this film. According to the sources close to us, it has been learnt that Suriya is expected to join the shoot (in Karaikudi) of his 40th movie, directed by Pandiraj on July 12. Sun Pictures has apparently planned to release the first look of this movie on Suriya's birthday (July 23).

On the work front, Suriya has several exciting projects. He is joining hands with Vetrimaaran for the first time in Vaadivaasal that is to be produced by Kalaipuli S Thaani. He also has a feature with Pandiraj that is produced by Sun Pictures, and the Netflix anthology film Navarasa in which he joins hands with Gautham Vasudev Menon with whom he had collaborated in the past on Vaaranam Aayiram and Kaakha Kaakha.
