The recent update is that, producer, actor Udhayanidhi Stalin, who is set to release his feature, Manithan next week, the 29th April tweeted the following.
"#Manithan Wil release in arnd 300screens in TN including all available screens in tiruvallur, kanchipuram nd chengalpet district screens !"
When Muthuraj, one of Udhayanidhi Stalin’s followers replied to his tweet as following,
"@Udhaystalin Sir it's time to show #Producersunitynow Don't agree with panneerselvam group. They simply boycotts producers struggle"
Udhayanidhi Stalin gave the following tweet as a rejoinder.
"@muthurajvembu where was the producers unity when I was rejected entertainment tax exemption for all my films for the past 5 years?"
Amidst all this, Vettri theatres’ Rakesh tweeted thanking Udhayanidhi Stalin for his support!
