A few more days to go for Thala Ajith fans as they gear up for the big day, August 8, to see their idol on the silver screens. The actor will be next seen in his upcoming film, Nerkonda Paarvai that is the official remake of critically and commercially acclaimed Hindi legal drama, Pink, and Ajith Kumar will be reprise the role of a lawyer played by Amithabh Bachchan in the original.

Meanwhile, the film's theatrical distribution in Chennai city, Trichy and Salem is undertaken by Udhayanidhi Stalin's production house Red Giant Movies. Apart from Red Giant Movies, the film will also be released in various parts of Tamil Nadu by leading distributors - Mr. G. Srinivasan of S. Pictures, Mr. K.Rajamannar of Kanthaswamy Arts Centre & Mr. Raahul.

Udhayanidhi Stalin will also be releasing the Vikranth-starrer rural drama Bakrid, which is written and directed by Jagadeesan Subu. 

Nerkonda Paarvai also stars Shraddha Srinath, Andrea Tariang, Abhirami, Rangaraj Pandey and others in crucial roles. The film boasts of a stellar technical crew which includes cinematographer Nirav Shah and editor Gokul Chandran while Yuvan Shankar Raja composed music for the film.
