AADI, NO FILM, TWO HEROINES?

The Tamil month Aadi is often termed inauspicious by many and this time around, Aadi is between July 16 and August 17. Wonder why we are talking about this? This month has a Kollywood connect.

There are quite a few movies, which were confirmed a few days ago, but were waiting for the month (Aadi)to end, so that they can start with the shoot. Udhayanidhi Stalin’s untitled flick with director Ezhil falls first in this list, which has Regina Cassandra and Srushti Dange as the female leads.

Jiiva, who has recently wrapped up his Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thora and Kavalai Vendam is getting ready to start his next. Titled Kee, this film is said to be having Nikki Galrani and RJ Balaji, while the rest of the cast is yet to be finalised.

It is also said that Rana Daggubati’s film with director Sathyasiva is also on cards to start the shoot after August 17th. While Regina has been signed on to play the female lead, it looks like the film will have another girl too.

These three films, apart from commencing the shoot after the end of Aadi month, also share another interesting connection. All the three films are a double heroine subject.
