South Queen, Trisha was last seen on screen in Karthik Subbaraj’s Petta as Rajinikanth’s wife, Saro and the film also featured Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, M.Sasikumar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bobby Simha, Sananth Reddy, Megha Akash, and Malavika Mohanan in prominent roles.
She is currently gearing up for the release of her next upcoming film, Garjanai that is written and directed by Sundar Babu. The film also features Amit Bhargava, Vamsi Krishna and Vadivukarasi in pivotal roles.
She, who is also a UNICEF celebrity advocate attended an event in Chennai organized by UNICEF. The actress spoke on child rights and stopping the violence against children. She has also urged the students to watch movies only as entertainment and not to imitate any characters and instead should focus on education.
The crime rates have been rising and she is worried about it. When she was asked by a reporter on Thala Ajith’s strong message of “No means No”, she said that being such a Superstar and doing a movie like Nerkonda Paarvai and supporting a cause is to be well-appreciated.
