Sivakarthikeyan took to Twitter on September 18 to unveil the release date of this much-anticipated film and said, "See you in theatres" while unveiling a new poster that marked October 9 in bold letters in the shape of surgical instruments.

The movie stars Priyanka Mohan, Vinay, Yogi Babu, Archana, Arun Alexandar, Deepa, and Ilavarasu in other pivotal roles. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director for the project. The action-entertainer movie is jointly bankrolled by Sivakarthikeyan under his banner Sivakarthikeyan Productions and KJR studios. 

The trailer, which was released on September 25, garnered tremendous positive response from audience as well as critics, but the interesting part was how the video ended - a blood-soaked Sivakarthikeyan held in captivity, starring into the eyes of the villain with a chilling music concluding the cliffhanger-of-an-ending. The popular actor shared the BGM portion from the movie titled 'Soul of Doctor'. The music became instantly popular with many saving it as their mobile ringtones.

Actor Sivakarthikeyan is currently working on his college-based entertainer 'Don'. The dubbing works had also started recently It is directed by directed by Cibi Chakaravarthi and Produced by SK Productions and Lyca Productions. The movie also has Priyanka Mohan as the female lead. Meanwhile, Director Nelson Dilipkumar is busy with the shoot of Thalapathy Vijay's biggie 'Beast'.
