Jayam Ravi teams up director Karthik Thangavel for his next project Adaga Maru. This will be Ravi's 24th outing in the industry. Actress Raashi Khanna has been signed to play the female lead while the music for this movie will be composed by Vikram Vedha fame Sam CS.

The first schedule of the movie is over, and the second schedule is currently taking place in Mani Mahal, Chennai. Apparently, Jayam Ravi dons a Khaki yet again for Adanga Maru. He will supposedly be playing the role of an SI in the police department. Thani Oruvan, Miruthan and Bogan are the other films in which Jayam Ravi played police officers in the past.
