Bollywood star Aamir Khan and former world chess champion Viswananthan Anand will to head-to-head in a game of chess. Yes, you read that right. In an announcement that was made by a Twitter handle Chess.com - India, it was revealed that the 'Dangal' star and the Indian chess grandmaster will be playing an exhibition match.
"The moment you all have been waiting for! Superstar Aamir Khan, an ardent chess lover, will be playing an exhibition match against former world champion Vishy Anand! Please feel free to donate generously to make this event a success," read the post put up by Chess.com.

Amid the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, the event called 'Checkmate COVID' is being organised to help members of the chess community affected by COVID-19. Not just Aamir, but many other celebrities are also set to join the event which is scheduled to be held on June 13.
Aamir Khan is an ardent chess lover who has played with Vishy Anand in the past. Actor Hrithik Roshan too promoted the event and posted a video on social media where he spoke about the details of the event and urged people to donate.
