One of the most widely discussed problems in the country now is the issue concerning Mersal's dialogues against GST. The inception of the matter was when Tamilisai Soundararajan, the president of the Tamil Nadu wing of the BJP, raised the concern that the dialogues must be muted from the film. The problem then started to rise, and it has now become a pan-Indian issue.
Many Indian politicians and celebrities came in support of the Mersal team and one of them being Thol. Thirumavalavan, the President of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi in Tamil Nadu. Yesterday, he said that the BJP should not be going against the film but the censor board for giving it a heads up. Today, he has given out yet another statement against the Bharatiya Janata Party. He has said, "By opposing Mersal, the BJP leaders are trying to pull Vijay to their side."
It is a known fact that, Mersal’s dialogues that had verses with respect to GST have been the talk of the town for the past few hours. Numerous celebrities took to their social media handle to share their views and opinions about the same.
Just in is Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan’s breaking statement about Mersal’s dialogues. Kamal posted on Twitter, “Mersal was certified. Dont re-censor it . Counter criticism with logical response. Don’t silence critics. India will shine when it speaks.”
