COVID lockdown had brought a lot of loss to the entertainment industry also, as it includes one of the main working classes together in a group activity. Similarly, theatre owners suffered huge loss as movie theatres are one such places where crowds gather.

Theatres to open in a few days - Latest government orders excite fans

Understanding the plight of various industries, lockdown is being lifted phase by phase over the country. On a similar note, the latest government order regarding opening of theatres have brought relief to the owners.

In the latest GO, cinema halls have been instructed to be ready for opening, and according to Tiruppur Subramanian, “We have received orders to keep theatres ready for opening. So we expect orders for the same within a few days. With regard to this, we (TN Theatre owner’s association) are planning to talk to the Minister about this.”
