The Government of Tamil Nadu is taking various measures to control the spread of coronavirus in the state as more than 14,000 people are affected every day. Theatres are to be closed from April 26 onwards.
Other than theatres, recreation clubs, bars, auditoriums, meeting halls are also said to be closed. Big format shops like shopping complex and malls are also said to close. Departmental stores can function with 50 per cent capacity.
Beauty parlours, spas, saloons, barber shops can’t function as well. Only parcel services at restaurants and tea shops.
The current releases in theatres include Dhanush’s Karnan whereas most of the other releases including Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi were postponed.
