KAMAL HAASAN AND HIS CHOICE OF HEROINES!

As reported a few days back Kamal Haasan will be teaming up with Ramya Krishnan for his next untitled film to be directed by Rajeev Kumar. This film is expected to be an outright comedy flick with Shruti Haasan playing a pivotal role in it.

One thing that surprises us in all the recent Kamal films, since Uttama Villain, is the choice of his heroines. Urvashi played the role of Kamal’s wife in Uttama Villain whereas it was Gauthami in Papanasam and Asha Sarath in Thoongavanam. And now it is Ramya Krishnan's turn to play Kamal’s lady love. Amala was supposed to play the female lead in one of Kamal’s films which was recently shelved. So it looks like he is bringing all the 80’s heroine back to fame.

We see a transformation in the kind of roles that Kamal Haasan has been doing of late. He selects roles only that his body could bare. Apart from his spy espionage franchise Viswaroopam, he tries to play characters that are about his age, or at least somewhat closer to his age.

It looks like a pre-planned move by our Ulaganayagan!
