The actor will also be next seen in as the lead in Pailwaan (Bailwaan in Tamil), a  wrestling-based action drama directed by Krishna, who had earlier worked with Sudeepa in Hebbuli, and stars Suniel Shetty, Aakanksha Singh, Sushant Singh, Kabir Duhan Singh, Sharath Lohitashva and others in supporting roles.

The film has the elements of a promising sports drama that is laced with emotions. The trailer showed a glimpse of the protagonist's journey from being a ruffian to a boxer. Pailwaan is slated to release of September 12.

Pailwaan's technical crew comprises of cinematography by Karunakar A. while Ruben handles the editing department. The music is composed by Arjun Janya and the film is bankrolled by Swapna Krishna under the banner RRR Pictures.
