National Award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut was recently featured in Manikarnika, a period film that is loosely based on the life of queen Rani Laxmi Bai. The film went on to be a commercial success at the box office.
The actress is back as the lead with her next project. Titled 'Panga', the film is directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, who had earlier directed Amala Paul in the 2016 Tamil drama 'Amma Kanakku', remake of the Hindi film 'Nil Battey Sannatta', also directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari.
The makers have recently launched the first look of the film, which features a saree-clad actress. It's also officially annouced that the makers will be releasing the official trailer on December 23. Apart from the lead, Panga also features Jassie Gill, Richa Chaddha, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta and others.
Pangaa is set to release on January 24, 2020. On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will also be portraying Tamil Nadu's former Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha in the biopic Thalaivi, directed by Vijay.
