Noted actor, cinematographer, writer and director Thankar Bachan took to his official Facebook account to post a long message regarding the deadly transmission of Coronavirus and the necessary steps that should be taken by the government.
In his post, Thankar Bachan lamented that initially, the media ignored the outbreak as undue amount of spotlight was thrown onto other issues. The 'Onbadhu Roobai Nottu' director also warned that if the lockdown persists, people will have to hit the streets to save their loved ones, even if its at the cost of their lives.
Bachan also stressed on the fact that the government must not open liquor shops during these alarming times in the guise of financial crisis. The cinematographer noted that the government must also avail more technology to fight the crisis.
