Thala Ajith will be next seen essaying a police officer's role in director H. Vinoth's upcoming action-thriller Valimai. The film marks the actor-director duo's second project under Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner post Nerkonda Paarvai.
The first look posters from this upcoming film have left all of us badly wait for the upcoming movie. The first single, Naanga Vera Maari and the glimpse from the film were unveiled earlier. The makers had unveiled the powerful look of Karthikeya who is said to be playing the role of the main antagonist in the film.
Last month, Boney Kapoor took to his social media and shared a mass update about the release of the film. He has confirmed that the film would hit the big screens on Pongal 2022 and several pictures from the film has indeed left each and everyone of us badly wait for the film.
Now, Prasanna took to his social media and shared an emotional post tweeting, “Extremely delighted to know that my dear #Thala trusted in me. Though it was disappointing when #Valimai opportunity slipped away, I am confident great things are yet to come.” For the unversed, earlier Prasanna had confirmed that he was offered a Valimai role but stated, “I, from the bottom of my heart, thank each and everyone of you, who with so much love wished and wanted me to be part “Valimai”. I was equally thrilled that the talks were on and was hoping to make the biggest announcement in my career ever. But unfortunately, this wonderful opportunity to share screen with our “Thala” isn’t happening this time. In spite of the deep disappointment I am feeling all the more stronger with all your love. There is always a next time and am sure I will be playing that dream part opposite “Thala” sooner. Love you all so much. Keep sending me your love. That’s all I’ve got.”
