Suriya's Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, which released yesterday (January 12), is currently running at the theatres with good response from the public.
According to Behindwoods Box office analysis wing, this Vignesh Shivn directorial has approximately collected 72.5 lakhs on its first day, in the Chennai city region, holding 136 shows. With a long Pongal weekend, the film is expected to do well at the box office.

Director Vignesh ShivN's Thaana Serndha Koottam, starring Suriya and Keerthy Suresh has released today, January 12. Any film releasing these days has the threat of online pirates reducing their sales. The director himself posted on Twitter, issuing a heartfelt request:
