Director Kodi Ramakrishnan, who has directed more than 100 films in his stellar career, including the likes of Intlo, Pelli, and the popular Anushka Shetty starrer Arundhati, has passed away. He was rushed to AIG Hospital in Gachibowli yesterday, after he complained of breathlessness.
After being treated continuously in the Intensive care unit, the veteran breathed his last. It is an irreparable loss for cinema as a whole. His last directorial was Avatharam, that released in 2014. He's also worked in a few Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam films.
Apart from direction, he also acted in films like Attagaaroo Swagatam, Mudilla Muchata, Inti Donga, etc., His total cinema career spanned over 30 years, which by any standards is a monumental feat. May his soul rest in peace.
