VIJAY SETHUPATHI’S HEROINE GETS FIRMED UP FINALLY

Tanya Ravichandran, grand daughter of yesteryear legend Ravichandran, made her Tamil debut in Balle Vellaiya Thevaa. She has also completed Radha Mohan’s Brindavanam and now she has bagged a plum role in Karuppan being directed by Panneerselvam of Renigunta fame where her co-star will be Vijay Sethupthi.

It has to be noted that there were quite a few names for the role of heroine in this film from Keerthy Suresh to Ritika Singh to Lakshmi Menon. Finally, Tanya is confirmed as the lady lead.

Tanya shares her delight with behindwoods, “I had completed my screen test and I am in the project. I am very happy, excited and started shooting in Dindigul. I will be playing a village girl and my role will have a lot of importance. It needs a lot of hard work from my side. I will be dubbing in this film too like how I did for Bale Vellaya Thevaa. Vijay Sethupathi is very friendly and he makes me very comfortable on the sets. He told me not to have the thought that I am working with an experienced star so that I don’t get stressed out”.
