Dr. Vijay Janakiraman and Dr. Thirugnanasambandam, two US-based doctors, are striving to create Sangam professorship at Harvard which will serve as a chair for Tamil studies at the world-renowned university.
As part of the awareness and donation drive of this effort, a song is being composed by GV Prakash Kumar titled "Tamizhaanom". The promo of this song has just been released.
Reportedly, the doctor duo is attempting to get funds from the State Government of Tamil Nadu, apart from their personal contributions of almost Rs. 3.50 Crore each.
