CS Amudhan is one filmmaker who is known for his sarcastic remarks, no wonder he could pull off a spoof movie like Thamizh Padam. For all Tamizh Padam fans who are waiting for the release of the film's sequel, here is an official press release from the team.

"We had earlier announced TP2.0 release date as May 25th 20., but we had to push it due to technical reasons.

TP2.0 has huge amounts of visuals effects (CGI) work, mainly to show our lead actors in good light. Consequently, the work on our hero, biceps & shoulder had been outsourced to a studio in LA, California & the heroine, wrinkle removal and under-eye work to a studio in Amsterdam. Due to the massive amount of VFX required in these areas we've had to reschedule our release but fear not, we plan to meet you soon in theatres!
