BJP's Tamil Nadu State President Tamilisai Soundarajan has asked the Mersal team to remove dialogues about GST and digital India from the film.
Though Mersal is not a political film, it talks about several concepts that connect with the current political system. BJP leader of Tamil Nadu, Tamilisai Soundarajan is apparently not happy with the dialogues in the film that talks against GST and digital India. In her statement, Tamilisai has warned the Mersal team that if they do not remove these dialogues, she would apparently file a legal complaint against the film.
We will have to wait and see if the Mersal team plans to remove these dialogues or not?
After surpassing all the hurdles, Thalapathy Vijay's Mersal has hit the screens today (18th October), and the film has opened up extremely well at the box office. Vijay fans have been celebrating the film's release, and are also excited to have seen Thalapathy in three different avatars for the first time.
