Actress Tamannaah was last seen in the Seenu Ramasamy directed drama 'Kanne Kalaimane' which released on 22nd February 2019. The actress was paired opposite Udhayanidhi Stalin and her performance was recieved with positive reviews. Meanwhile, sources close to us have given updates regarding the star's upcoming project.
The actress is set to play the lead in Adhey Kangal fame director Rohin Venkatesan's upcoming project. The film is touted to be a women-centric horror comedy and the actress will play the film's solo lead. The supporting cast consists of Yogi Babu, Ramadoss, Mansoor Ali Khan and smallscreen VJ- comedian TSK. The team is also in talks with actor Sathyan for casting an important role in the film. Ghibran is said to compose the soundtrack of the film, marking his second collaboration with the director after Adhey Kangal.
This yet-to-be-titled film will be shot by Australian cinematographer Dan Macarthur of Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada fame and Vikram Vedha art director Vinodh will handle the film's production design. The official announcement regarding the film will be given on April 14th and the shooting will commence on May 2nd and continues till June 15th in a single schedule. The shooting is said to take place on Hyderabad and Chennai.
The actress is currently awaiting the release of the A.L Vijay directed Devi-2 co-starring Prabhu Deva which is also a horror comedy
