T.Rajhendherr called for a press meet this morning to talk about GST and related issues. In this press meet, he talked about various issues and one among those was the moment when he asked why Puli was not given tax exemption by the State Government.
T.R. said, "Let me be open and frank. Rajinikanth's Kabali, which had full of gunshots and blood, was not only given a U certificate but also was exempted from tax payment. However, Vijay's Puli was not given tax exemption. The film was actually made for kids and it was well received among family audience. But that film was neglected. I just wonder why that Government didn't give tax exemption for Puli.
There were all these Hindu groups and political parties, who opposed Vijay and Kaththi film for Lyca Productions' association in the film, but till now, there has been no opposition for Rajini's association with Lyca for 2.0. There is surely something fishy behind this, and you guys think I would be scared to speak this? I am not scared and I am ready for anything."
