Produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International, the first look poster of the film, the preview video and the making video were released recently and attracted fans from all walks of life.

It has been announced that the audio and trailer release of Vikram will take place on May 15 at the Nehru Indoor Stadium.

Girish Gangadharan, who won the National Award for Malayalam film 'Jallikkattu', will be handling the cinematography for Vikram. Anirudh will be seen composing the music. Sony Music has acquired the audio rights to Vikram's film. 

Also, the first single of Vikram's single was released on May 11 yesterday. Kamal has written and sung this song which starts as 'Pathala Pathala'. Sandy Master choreographed the song.

Vikram will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi on June 3. The film is being released by Red Giant Movies, a leading distribution company in Tamil Nadu.

The film stars Kamal Haasan alongside actors Vijay Sethupathi and Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil. Kalidas Jayaram plays Kamal Haasan's son. Vijay Sethupathi is paired with Shivani and Myna Nandini.

In this situation Vikram has played the role of famous young Tamil cinema actress Swathishta Krishnan. This has been confirmed by the film production company. The actress has also confirmed this on her Instagram page.

Actress Swathishta Krishnan made her Tamil cinema debut with the film Savarakathi. She has acted in many Tamil commercials. She is also seen in Jiiva's Kee. 

The 8th Behindwoods Gold Medals Awards will be held this year on May 15 and 22 at the Island Grounds in Chennai from 6pm to 11.30pm. Ticket booking for this is currently underway.
