Suriya's speech from Mr Chandramouli audio launch:

"People born in 70's are really lucky, only we know the impact of the word Mr Chandramouli. Karthik sir was an expert in romance, we got to know what love is only after seeing his films. On seeing the title, all I could think was about Mouna Ragam which released in 1986.

This is a very very important stage for everybody here. Dhananjayan made appa's (Sivakumar) 75th book launch very memorable. He is like an elder son to Appa. I have met director Thiru often, I know the way he talks and I am sure he would have made this film with so much of entertainment.

Thanks for giving the opportunity for my sister (Brinda) to sing a song in the film. I am standing here because Vasanth sir asked me to act. Karthi acted because Gnanavel insisted him to act. Brinda's childhood dream has been fulfilled today. This means a lot to us. Thank you."
